Check out this three-question growth marketing interview with Yannick!
What does an ordinary workday look like for you?
I usually start my day by checking my and Hypefury’s Twitter account to see if there’s anything I need to respond to.
There are always other things on my plate. Things that keep coming back are improving the marketing website, reaching out to blog owners to see if we can collaborate and doing research on and setting or growth strategy and tactics.
What are some of your favorite marketing tools or resources?
I use Ahrefs a lot do SEO research.
We use ClickUp for project management and Twist to communicate with the team.
Next to that I love to use Upwork to delegate work we can’t do ourselves.
What is the best piece of marketing advice you’ve ever received?
Good question. Two things pop in my mind.
The CMO of a top 10 brand in the Netherlands once told me that you can get your NPS as high as you like but it’s gonna cost you a lot of money. You need to find the right balance.
The other thing that popped in my head is that it’s much harder to create a new niche / vertical where you have to educate your users versus attacking an existing niche where people know what solutions exists and what they want.
