Khushi Lunkad — Full-Stack Growth Marketer

Khushi Lunkad has driven customer acquisition for companies of all sizes in different industry verticals.

She’s a full-stack growth marketer and is currently working at a growth marketing agency called Coldbru.

Check out this three-question growth marketing interview with Khushi!

What does an ordinary workday look like for you?

Our team is mostly async so my day starts with gathering and organising any new updates.

I work on creative tasks for the first 3 hours.

Then move on to research focused tasks for the next 3. Finally, I’ll do a little housekeeping and attend to feedback calls.

Outside of my work hours, I spend around 2 hours each day taking niche-specific trainings and finding a way to retain those.

What are some of your favorite marketing tools or resources?

I spend 80% of my time learning and 20% of my time retaining knowledge.

Acquisition: I read curated newsletters like GrowthMarketer, IndieLetters and BrainPint.

Retention: I use Collect, which is like Pinterest but more than just pictures. Citable is a neat hack to save things online in bulk. Even a WhatsApp solo group goes a long way!

P.S I’m launching a database of such cool but hidden gems soon.

What is the best piece of marketing advice you’ve ever received?

The most rewarding yet hardest piece of advice on persuasion I’ve ever heard:

“Nothing you say is ever about you. Everything is about them – your audience.”

Your portfolio isn’t about you, it’s about the company you apply to. The 256-bit encryption means nothing until the visitor knows what they can do with it.

The only exceptions are in situations of unconditional love.
