What does an ordinary workday look like for you?
From following up on yesterday to completing today’s tasks to planning for tomorrow, an ordinary workday for me is hectic.
Apart from my day job, I mentor portfolio companies of 500 Startups & Newchip Accelerator, write posts on LinkedIn and for publications, work on my next growth letter, engage in discussions on slack communities (and LinkedIn), read blogs, and listen to podcasts.
What are some of your favorite marketing tools or resources?
I like reading blogs by Neil Patel and Brian Dean as well as case studies by Cenario on SaaS growth.
I like listening to Copyblogger FM and Marketing School.
Regarding the tools, I find a bunch of them totally worth it, namely:
- BuzzSumo
- SEMrush
- Ubersuggest
- Feedly
- Treendly
- Ahrefs
- Buffer
- Mailchimp
- Hotjar
- Piktochart
- Snov
- HARO
- Google Analytics
What is the best piece of marketing advice you’ve ever received?
Doing in-depth research on your customers is far more important than working on conversion rate optimization.
Knowing the pain points of your customers and what delights them will help better convert your customers to paying users.
Moreover, if you know your customers well, you will be able to upsell to them without much friction.
