Hailey Friedman — Co-founder at Growth Marketing Pro

Hailey is the co-founder at GrowthMarketingPro.com and built it into a 6-figure passive income business in 18 months with SEO alone (without spending a dollar on ads). She recently launched an SEO tool called GrowthBar to help others do the same.

Hailey leads & advises Growth at venture-backed startups in San Francisco and around the world, generating millions in revenue.

Check out this three-question growth marketing interview with Hailey!

What does an ordinary workday look like for you?

It’s different every day but I’m usually bouncing between meetings with consulting clients and implementing various growth tactics. I try and schedule all my meetings for Tuesday and Wednesday and reserve the other days for prolonged deep work projects.

What are some of your favorite marketing tools or resources?

GrowthBar is my favorite tool for SEO keyword research, rank tracking and spying on which growth channels are driving traffic for my competitors. I am a bit biased, as I built it with my co-founder Mark, but we built it to be 10x more effective at getting us the data we need to make smart growth decisions on the fly. Today I simply cannot function as a growth marketer, blogger & SEO expert without GrowthBar.

What is the best piece of marketing advice you’ve ever received?

More like a piece of marketing advice I discovered the hard way—you can have an amazing product and an incredible team, but if you don’t know how to get customers, you don’t have anything worth very much at all.

That’s a wrap! Know a marketer who we should interview next? Tell us here.
